When I was pregnant with Jean, then Lisa, my sense of smell became... uncontrollable. I couldn't stand the smell of freshly ground coffee, even though it's one of my favorite smells. Even my usual perfume, the one I'd been wearing for years, made me nauseous. On the other hand, certain scents gave me a feeling of well-being, like citrus. Orange, lemon, bergamot... I had the impression that they gave me energy, that they simply made me feel good.
So I started writing down these comforting scents, a bit like an olfactory travel diary of my pregnancy. Without realizing it, I was already sowing the first seeds of Chamboule tout. Chamboule tout.
Opting for a healthy fragrance not only allows you to indulge yourself without risk, but also to offer your baby a soft, reassuring olfactory imprint that he or she will return to after birth. In utero, babies already perceive certain scents, and after birth, the ones they recognize soothe them and help them adapt smoothly to their new environment.
